Spectrum of NGC 7469 with a model that does not include the collisionally-ionized plasma component. Residuals of the Ne-like Fe16+ 2p–3d line at 15.01 and 2p–3s line at 17.1 Å (cosmologically redshifted in the figure) demonstrate the presence of collisionally-ionized plasma, likely originating in the circum-nuclear star-forming ring of NGC 7469.
