Starting with the initial image in the B passband for NGC 1073, in each row, results of the degraded resolution in the left column and the resulting m = 2 spectrum of this degraded image by reducing resolution factors of 4, 16, and 32. We can recover the main features of the m = 2 spectrum even at very low resolutions.
