Notes. Identifications in the Red Square Nebula: the first column gives the wavelengths in nm, and is followed by the name of the identified species. The third column gives the Einstein A coefficient [s-1]. As mentioned in Sect. 3, we distinguish between emission and absorption features, features showing a P Cygni line profile or a double peaked profile. We also identify DIBs (diffuse interstellar bands) originating in the diffuse interstellar medium in the line of sight. Columns 5–7 give the state names, electron configurations, and energies [cm-1] of the respective electronic levels. The last column gives the origin of the identified lines. For some lines the identification is lacking. The respective wavelengths is included in the table, but species name and designations are not listed.
