Sky area around R145 (credit: NASA, ESA, E. Sabbi, STScI). The image was obtained using the Hubble Space Telescope’s (HST) WFC3 and ACS cameras in filters that roughly overlap with the I, J, and H bands. The image size is ≈ 2.5′ × 1.7′. North is up and east to the left. The arrows indicate the positions of R145 and the star cluster R 136. The distance between R145 and R 136 is ≈ 1.3′, or in projection, ≈ 19 pc.
