The ellipse shows the standard deviation of the RA and Dec offsets (1.65″ and 1.70″ respectively) and is centred on the mean offset, which is zero in both RA and Dec. The points show the RA and Dec offsets for each of the matched sources. The histograms show the number of sources at different RA and Dec offsets.
