Stokes I and V profile from the GRIS scan (red, indicated with a triangle in Fig. 1) and the MHD run (blue, indicated with a triangle in Fig. 12) with MLR = 0.6 taken from the red boxes in Figs. 7 and 11. The MHD profile corresponds to a pixel with B ≈ 2.0 kG averaged over log τ = (−0.2,−0.8).
