Distributions of the γ-ray and radio peak separation of simulated (grey) and observed (red) pulsars obtained, for each model, as a function of the magnetic obliquity are shown in the top and bottom panels, respectively. The model distributions have been obtained as two-dimensional number-density histograms. The dash-dotted line highlights the minimum number density contour. The LAT measurements are given with 1σ error bar uncertainty.
