Effect of the spatial resolution on the aspect of surface bright features. In both examples shown here, the surface shown at higher resolution allows resolving small meter-sized bright spots inside what looks like homogeneous bright regions at lower scale. As a result, the bright spots are much smaller and brighter than what could be inferred from the earlier lower resolution observation. a) Imhotep.
