Continuum subtracted, rest-frame spectra extracted from a region of 1.6′′ × 1.6′′ around the nucleus (upper panel) and around the star-forming clump A (lower panel). The different excitation between the two regions is evident from the different line ratios, where [OIII] and [NII] are brighter in the nucleus, while stronger Hα and Hβ emission is detected in the star-forming clumps.
