The metallicity is derived using (upper panels) and (lower panels), and the total stellar mass, M, obtained with the GMe SSP models (left panels) and CBe (right panels). A mass-binned smooth mean relation is shown as a solid black or grey-black line. The MZRs obtained for SDSS galaxies by Gallazzi et al. and Panter et al. are plotted as brown and magenta lines, respectively, with dashed brown indicating the 16 and 84 percentiles of Gallazzi et al. .
