The actual components of the LNA are on the opposite side of the board to avoid electrical interference. The thick wire is the high-voltage supply to the detector (the blue wire is a test lead). Bottom: a computer rendering of an exploded view of the detector system. The upper plate is a structural Al frame in which a 0.016 mm-thick aluminum foil will be stretched to provide light and electrical shielding to the detectors. The bottom brass piece provides structure and casing for the detectors and PCBs.
