Abundances of Na, Al, and α elements as a function of the metallicity. Cepheid stars (filled circles) are compared with thin disk (filled green squares) and thick disk (open orange squares) field dwarfs from Soubiran & Girard (2005, S05). The abundances of red supergiants and LBVs are also plotted when available (symbols and colors are the same as in Fig. 3). The gradients derived by Mikolaitis et al. (2014, M14) for thin (solid line) and thick (dotted line) disk stars in the Gaia-ESO survey are also shown.
