AGN host galaxy starburstiness R_SB as a function of M_∗ for DI scenario (upper panels, solid contours for the fiducial model and black dashed contours for α = 2) and IT scenario (lower panels) in three different redshift bins. Only AGN with luminosity L_X> 10^42.2 erg s^-1 are considered. The filled contours correspond to equally spaced values of the density (per Mpc³) of model AGN in logarithmic scale: from 10^-7 for the lightest filled region to 10^-4 for the darkest. The data points indicate the XMM-COSMOS AGN with L_X> 10^42.2 erg s^-1. Circles and arrows indicate AGN with SFR derived from L_FIR, triangles indicate AGN with SFR derived from SED fitting.
