Notes. gspec is a spectroscopic apparent magnitude calculated by convolving the SDSS flux-calibrated spectra with the g-band response function. These correspond to a different epoch to the photometric magnitudes, but may be affected by “slit losses” due to errors in astrometry or fibre positioning.
