UKIRT ZJK color–magnitude and spectral type-magnitude diagrams of confirmed Pleiades low-mass members (black and red dots). Calar 16,1822, and 25 are labeled. Previously known members of Bihain et al. (2010) are plotted as black dots. The magenta symbols stand for Zapatero Osorio et al. (2014a) candidates with Z photometry extracted from UKIDSS (triangles and arrows) and Sarro et al. (2014, square). Masses for an age of 120 Myr are labeled in the left panel. The field L and T dwarfs with an age close to that of the Pleiades (Delorme et al. 2012; Liu et al. 2013; Kuzuhara et al. 2013; Faherty et al. 2013; Naud et al. 2014; Zapatero Osorio et al. 2014b) are labeled and denoted by blue triangles. They are plotted as if they were located at 133.5 pc. Overlaid is the mean sequence of the field (solid line) produced by Dupuy & Liu (2012) taken to the Pleiades distance.
