Coverage of the photometric and spectroscopic observations across the Carina dwarf spheroidal galaxy. The CTIO 4 m/MOSAIC photometry is shown as small black dots, while the open (blue) circles show the low-resolution VLT/FLAMES Ca ii triplet sample and the solid (red) dots show the high-resolution spectroscopic sample. The dashed (green) ellipse indicates the tidal radius of Carina (28.8 arcmin, 0.48 degrees), while the black ellipses indicate one and two core radii (Irwin & Hatzidimitriou 1995). The (0, 0) coordinate in the coverage plot corresponds to RA = 06:41:36.70, Dec = –50:57:58.00. Finally, the region outlined by the solid red line is used for MW foreground correction. The large gap in the top-left is caused by a bright foreground star that saturates the CCD.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
