Parallax errors in the HTPM solution for two cases. Bin width is 20 μas. In case A (full five-parameter astrometric solution for all stars, red/right histogram) the parallax errors are unbiased. In case B (two-parameter solution of the auxiliary stars, blue/left histogram) the median parallax error is − 591 μas.
