Overall view on cometary tracks filled by collected astrometric observations in geocentric equatorial coordinate system given in Aitoff projection. The declination is plotted along the ordinate, the right ascension along the abscissa (increasing from zero to 360 degree from the left to right) and the centre of projection is 0°of declination and 180° of right ascension. The lines of right ascension and declination are shown at 30° intervals, and the wavy line shows the projection of the ecliptic onto the celestial sphere. Each positional observation is shown as a light steel-blue point for a given comet, except for the first observation, which is shown as a dark magenta point.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
