Bottom panel: Same for the CEMP star CS 22942-019. Predissociation lines, as well as many other CH lines, are present and contribute to the flux depression. In the case of the CEMP star, the presence of several extremely broad CH predissociation lines is so important that it acts as a pseudo-continuum.
