TR-LIF measurement of the decay of the 5s 6D9/2 level in Cr ii at 83 241 cm-1 in a laser-produced plasma. The intense peak is the 532 nm Nd-YAG laser used to produce the plasma. The bottom peak is the delayed excitation laser pulse resulting in the observed fluorescence signal on top of the plasma background.
