Polarized-to-stellar light contrast for a sample of Herbig Ae/Be stars compared with the flux ratio at wavelengths of 30 μm and 13.5 μm. This ratio is indicative of the disk flaring angle. All group I objects have been clearly detected in polarized light, whereas HD 163296 (group I–II) is only weakly detected and HD 150193A (group II) is not detected at all.
