Large-scale galaxy distribution at 0.45 <z< 1.1 unveiled by the VIPERS PDR-1 catalogue in the CFHTLS W1 and W4 fields (left and right respectively), currently including ~ 55 000 redshifts. Galaxy positions are projected along the declination direction, where the width is ≃ 1° for W1 and ≃ 1.5° for W4. Note the high-resolution sampling of large-scale structure in VIPERS, comparable to that of SDSS Main and 2dFGRS at z< 0.2.
