VISTA K_s-band image of the region around HD 92 206 C; north is up and east is to the left. The blue polygons show the individual X-ray extraction regions. The faint companion of HD 92 206 C can be seen about 1.7′′ northwest and is marked as “C2”. The extraction region for the source C2 was automatically shrunken to avoid overlap with the extraction region of source C1, and thus encloses only 40% of the PSF. We note that the Chandra PSF is elongated and enlarged at the rather large off-axis angle (4.3′) of theses objects.
