Density profile of a Sextans-type dSph with a perigalacticon and apogalacticon of 63 kpc and 150 kpc, respectively (model sex156). The density is shown at the present time, with the isolation model shown in a black solid line, models that have undergone one perigalacticon passage marked with a red dashed line, two passages a green dot-dash line, and three passages a blue dotted line. Each interaction decreases the central density, allowing tidal forces to more efficiently strip the dSph in future interactions (see also Fig. 5). Beyond 10 kpc each model that has undergone an interaction exceeds the density of the isolation model, indicative the the tidal forces also flatten the profile.
