Star formation of a Sextans-like dwarf in isolation and undergoing two passages at a perigalacticon of 63 kpc and an apogalacticon of 150 kpc. The top two panels in show the generic resolution model (sex-iso in black, sex156-2 in red respectively) and the bottom two the high resolution models (sexHR-iso in black, sexHR156-2 in red respectively). The beginning of the interaction is shown with a dashed line and the time of perigalacticons shown with a dotted line. Here the star formation is quenched in both cases soon after the perigalacticon passage.
