NICI/Gemini coronagraphic image of HR 5171 A in the [FeII] 1.644 micron line. The central star is visible, highly dimmed by the semi-transparent coronagraphic mask to optimize the fine pointing of the source at the center. The mask has a radius of 0.9′′ and the detected light extends up to 1.8′′.
