Skewness–Kurtosis diagram for the eclipsing binaries and the Cepheids identified in the spectral catalog. New eclipsing binaries are indicated with blue squares, and known eclipsing binaries with circles. Eclipsing binaries are expected to be found below the dashed curve for skewness values higher than 0.2, as defined by Graczyk & Eyer (2010). However, the method was found to miss systems with sparsely sampled eclipses (above the dashed curve) or with rather symmetric light curves (close to (0, 0)).
