Lighthouse nebula (IGR J11014-6103) as viewed by Chandra during our observation (obs.ID 13787, with the field of view indicated by the dashed box). The image also includes archival observations of SNR MSH 11-61A. The two objects have likely been produced by the same supernova explosion 1020 kyr ago. The image is adaptively smoothed with a gaussian kernel, rotated by 37.5°, and normalized by the exposure to recover gaps between the chips. Labels indicate the terms used throughout the text for the different components of the Lighthouse nebula.
