IR transmittance spectra in optical depth-scale (P polarization) of CH3OH:N2 ice (about 250 nm thick) deposited at 16 K before (dashed line), after bombardment with 1.58 × 1014 200 keV H+ cm-2 alone (dose = 4 eV/16u; dotted line) and after simultaneous processing with 1.29 × 1014 200 keV H+ cm-2 and 1.76 × 1018 photons cm-2 (total dose = 37 eV/16u; solid line). N-bearing species such as HNCO, N2O, OCN−, HCN, and CH2N2 are formed.
