Notes.The DLA results are taken from the Péroux et al. (2003b) sample. The d(n)/dz and d(n)/dX for sub-DLAs is measured from the contribution of both DLAs and sub-DLAs. The final row shows the total redshift path and absorption path length for both DLAs and sub-DLAs.
