New decision tree for morphology classification. The classification system was modified from earlier versions (Neichel et al. 2008; Delgado-Serrano et al. 2010) to account for the consequences of poor 2D fits in making the S0 vs. spiral distinction. Numbers of galaxies classified as peculiar or compact by means of a particular criterion are shown with the final False arrows that eliminate the galaxy from regular elliptical, lenticular, or spiral classification.
