The fraction of galaxies in the DR1 sample with respect to the expected final CALIFA sample distribution, split by visually classified morphology. We divide the galaxies into ellipticals (E), lenticulars (S0), non-barred spirals (SA), weakly barred spirals (SAB), strongly barred spirals (SB), and ongoing mergers (M) of any type. The morphological distribution of the DR1 sample lies close to that of the mother sample. The total number of galaxies in the DR1 for each morphology type is written on the bar. Error bars are computed from the Poisson errors of the associated DR1 number counts.
