Schematic model of jet/blast wave-cloud interaction in central 10 pc. The jet inflates a cocoon which punches into the GMC. The cloud is subjected to the wind arising from the systematic expansion of the cocoon, which has the dual effect of compressing its outer layers, thereby triggering star formation, and accelerating some the newly formed stars to become hypervelocity stars.
