The emissivity is provided by emission from two spectral lines, and the two opacity sources given in Eqs. (59) and (60). Absorption is provided through the Thomson cross-section in Eq. (62). The brightness of each pixel represents the total intensity integrated over the entire spectrum. The torus brightness is normalised such that the brightness of the brightest pixel in each image is the same.
