Notes. The shocks form at rs = 1.2 R⋆. For each radius, the temperature and number density are given for the pre-shock gas, the gas after the shock front (in the collision-induced H2 dissociation zone), and the gas at the beginning and the end of the adiabatic cooling zone. The temperature T is in Kelvin and the gas number density ngas in cm-3.
