Fig. A.1

Effects of Galactic wind and spallations on the vertical propagator Vp where the MED model of CR propagation, which best fits the B/C ratio, has been selected. At very high proton energy, diffusion dominates over the other processes and we recover the results obtained by setting kw and ks equal to 0. Because nsum = 100 terms have been taken into account in the expansions (A.2) and (A.13), the blue short dashed curve exactly matches the red solid line. As the proton kinetic energy Tp is decreased down to 1 GeV, Galactic convection and proton interactions on the ISM become more and more important and the blue curves depart from their infinite energy limit.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
