Colour–magnitude correlations for Ks − 4.5   μm and Ks − 3.6   μm versus Ks. The lines show the linear fit to each correlation. In both cases the correlations are significant at a 3σ level. Extinction vectors corresponding to Av = 1 are shown for comparison. The positive slope in both correlations agrees with variability caused by variations in extinction by dust particles smaller than the observing wavelength.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
