Total power radio continuum map of NGC 4569. The radio image at 4.86 GHz with superimposed B-vectors of polarized intensity (Chyży et al., in prep.), is overlaid on the XMM-Newton Optical Monitor UVW1 filter image. The contours are −5, −3, 3, 5, 8, 16, 24, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, and 1024 × 9 μJy/beam area. The polarization vector of 1′ corresponds to a polarized intensity of 0.4 mJy/beam area. The angular resolution is 20′′. The beam size is shown in the lower left corner of the figure.
