Frequency of recognised χ2 double minima for simulated Herschel observations. Each frame corresponds to one modified black body with the given temperature and the spectral index. The horizontal axis gives the 350 μm intensity (the S/N ratios are the same as in Fig. 9) and the vertical axis is K100, the relative weighting of the 100 μm point. The colour scale gives the frequency of the double χ2 minima as a percentage.
