To study variations in the TRGB magnitude, C/M ratio and [Fe/H] as a function of azimuthal angle the region inside 4 kpc has been divided into 12 regions –2 annuli between 0−2 kpc and 2−4 kpc with each annuli further divided into 6 regions at intervals of 60°.
