Nyquist sampled, 2.5′ resolution 2MASS dust extinction map of the molecular cloud associated with NGC 2264. The map is centred on (α, δ)(J2000.0) = (6^h41^m02.6^s, +09°36′12.2′′). The dashed contour corresponds to A_V = 4 mag, while the solid contour corresponds to A_V = 8 mag. The box on the eastern part of the map indicates the size and location of the control field, while the larger box centred on the molecular cloud represents the area surveyed by IRAC. The FLAMINGOS fields, also centred on the cloud, are represented by boxes drawn with thicker lines.
