Observation of GRB 090313 with APEX (contours are 1, 2, 3 and 4σ detection levels) in March 2009 plotted over an optical X-shooter acquisition image showing the position of the afterglow. The field of view is 90′′ × 70′′. Only a field galaxy, unassociated with the GRB is detected, and we impose a 3-sigma upper limit of 9 mJy for the afterglow (adapted from de Ugarte Postigo et al. 2010c; Melandri et al. 2010).
