The change in nitrogen abundance after applying the contamination factor is plotted against the estimated continuum contribution from the presence of a circumstellar disc. Both LMC and SMC stars are included (circles). Stars showing shell-like features are noted as open circles. A linear least squares fit (solid line) has been performed on all points and indicates a good correlation.
