The trajectory of Planck from launch until 6 June 2010, in Earth-centred rotating coordinates (X is in the Sun-Earth direction, and Z points to the north ecliptic pole). Diamond symbols indicate the major manoeuvres, while triangles are touch-up operations. Two orbits around L₂ have been carried out in this period. The orbital periodicity is  ~6 months. The distance from the Earth-Moon barycentre is shown at bottom right.
