Estimation of the minimum Lorentz factor, with uncertainty, following the method in the supporting online material of the paper by Abdo et al. (2009b), from the highest energy photon detected by GRID (3.5 ± 1.7 GeV), the powerlaw photon index () and the typical variability timescale of the prompt emission from the MCAL lightcurve (1.2 ± 0.1 s).
