The intrinsic scatter is (41 ± 8)% and (66 ± 11)% for the ten high- and nine low-offset systems, respectively. This indicates that the scatter of the stellar-to-gas mass ratios may reflect the freedom in the formation history of the systems since the last major merging episode.
