Shear induced by camera distortion in the MegaCam imager. The camera shear is largest in the corners of the mosaic, with values up to 1.5%. As the observed shear is the sum of the gravitational shear and the camera shear, we simply subtract the camera shear from the observed galaxy ellipticities to correct for it.
