Flux density maps given as a function of grain size and distance to the star computed for amin = 0.2 μm (best-fit model, upper figure) and amin = 0.01 μm (lower figure). A surface density power law of α = −3 and a size distribution power-law exponent of κ = −5 have been assumed in these plots, with a maximum size of 1000 μm. In this simulation, the disc is composed of 50% silicates and 50% carbonaceous grains (Cr = 50%, see text). The contours are plotted every power of 10 between 10-1 and 10-7 of the maximum flux density.
