Transmission of the VISIR filters used for the observations of Betelgeuse. The transmission of the J7.9 filter is supposed to be Gaussian with a central wavelength of 7.76 μm and a half-band width of 0.55 μm. The ISO spectrum of Betelgeuse is also shown for reference, with an arbitrary intensity scale (thin grey curve, see Sect. 3.2 for details). The central wavelength of each filter is given in the legend.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
