The top panel shows analytical representations of empirically determined PDFs for the vertical flux density Bv and the total flux density B that are used for the calculations of the average flux densities  ⟨ Bv ⟩  and  ⟨ B ⟩  in the bottom panel. These averages are given as functions of the maximum flux density (truncation value) allowed in the integration over the PDF. BH is the field strength derived from the Hanle depolarization, assuming a single-valued field with an isotropic angular distribution.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
